From the 22nd to the 26th of February the first Learning/Teaching/Training Activity of the SPIDW-Project took place in Augsburg, Germany.
After the welcome round in our office in the Volkhartstraße, during which the process and general information about the activity were discussed with the participants, the presentations of the partners started.
First, during the theory blocks, the basic ideas, concepts, and experiences of non-formal methods were presented. Then the partners start the practical demonstrations.
During the first two project days 4 different non-formal methods could be demonstrated and applied.
On the third day, two study visits were planned. The first took place at the Agentur für Arbeit in Augsburg. The participants of the project were thus able to gain insights into the program WeGeBAu as well as into the further education measures in the area of digitization.
Another highlight of the activity was the visit to the Volkshochschule Augsburg (Folk high school). Thanks to its director Mr. Glocker and Mr Weber, who kindly allowed us to use their premises, we were able to bring our meeting to a successful conclusion on the last day of our activity.
To our great pleasure, we were also able to welcome Mr. Kloß, a lecturer at the Volkshochschule, our speaker on that day.
He told us about his many years of experience in adult education. Of course, the topic of digital education of older people was in focus. The talk was followed by a discussion with the participants of the project. Both experiences and suggestions could be exchanged.
