Activity C1 – February 2019, Germany

From the 22nd to the 26th of February the first Learning/Teaching/Training Activity of the SPIDW-Project took place in Augsburg, Germany.

After the welcome round in the Volkhartstraße office, during which the process and general information about the activity were discussed with the participants. Then the partners’ presentations of their good practices started.

First, during the theory blocks, the basic ideas, concepts, and experiences of non-formal methods were presented. Then the partners started the practical demonstrations.

During the first two project days 4 different non-formal methods were demonstrated and applied (City games, Biographic interview, Silver project, Web TV – digital storytelling)

On the third day, two study visits took place (at the employment agency – Agentur für Arbeit in Augsburg and the Volkshochschule Augsburg).

To our great pleasure, we were also able to welcome Mr. Kloß, a lecturer at the  Volkshochschule, our speaker on that day.

He told us about his many years of experience in adult education. Of course, the topic of digital education of older people was in focus. The talk was followed by a discussion with the participants of the project. Both experiences and suggestions could be exchanged.
